The Wastelands – on a mission from their goddess

wastelandsf.jpgWhat do you do when your Mistress is on vacation?

Well, if you are one of these four very imaginative subs, you collaborate on a vision quest in the desert.

Okay a virtual vision quest, admittedly, but still a marvelous read.

Billybear has put together a table of contents of his adventures with jem, bankyboo and lucky pet while their Princess Grace was away.

The whole thing is brilliant on so many different levels I can’t say enough about it. First off, it is being written by four different individuals, but it still has a cohesion that never seemed to happen in those comic books that attempted to share the same storyline.

The Wastelands is filled with hilarious moments. I can’t tell you which of these guys is funnier, billybear using every hallucinogen known to man in order to have a vision of his Mistress, and blowing himself up by smoking and inhaling ether at the same time — or lucky using up everyone’s water to build a sand sculpture of Ms. Grace — or jemmie testing out a new UV-enhancing sunscreen in the desert — or bankyboo discovering their map of the Mojave Desert is useless because they’re not in the Mojave Desert.

The four of them are constantly dropping comments on each other’s blogs, where they bicker over every little detail of their debauched/sacred desert journey.

    Giselle,

Thank you so much for the kind comments! The four of us had a blast (well until the lawsuits, I’m still kind of bitter about that and until the water ran out and well you know, bankysue growing that extra head well you read it – and thanks for taking the time to do that! – so you know I’m blameless)

When Princess Grace is away, we … well get sort of distracted … tend to wander off πŸ™‚

Again thanks for the nice words!

    Huggggggggs back, Giselle!

Thank you for the great writeup on the Wastelands epic! We all had a wonderful time… well.. except for the sunburn, the extra heads, the hooks and fins, the dehydration and starvation, the aerial fireworks, the blastfurnace heat, the sandstorms, the thorns, the insane murderous thoughts…. but other than that, it was a super trip!

    Thanks for reading and enjoying!

    MORE huggggggggsssss…..

Undaroos, I removed the link to your blog because you say some pretty nasty stuff about some pretty nice people I know. You’re entitled to your ugly little opinions but don’t expect me to link to them.

Why am I not surprised that a SISSY is also a COWARD???????
I am not afraid of a debate. You can come to my blog and say whatever you want. If you write a post about what a fink I am, I will link to you!
You show what a pussy you are!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That’s what you sissies want, isn’t it? To be pussies?????

And you want to steer readers to your blog. But I will delete your link as often as you post it here.

What do you expect me to debate you on? Whether I am ugly or not? In fairness, I used the word “ugly” to describe you first, and I don’t even need a photo of you to prove it. Anyone who reads your words here will know the truth.

Thanks for reading the little quest and for your nice post!

Awww…. Underoos wants to be a sissy like everyone else here. Otherwise, he wouldn’t spend so much time on it. πŸ˜‰

Haven’t read this journey yet, but it sounds like it might be a fun thing to do when I get a few minutes. I don’t want to start and then have to cut off in the middle, so I’ll wait til I get a little time. πŸ™‚

Just ignore the nay-sayers. There are always going to be people to criticize you in this life. The rest of us enjoy sharing your experiences.
